Woodstock
Woodstock is one of the fastest growing towns in Cherokee County, Georgia. Money Magazine named Woodstock one of the top 50 places to live in the U.S. and it’s not hard to see why. Known for its artsy, fun downtown and rich history. Downtown Woodstock is a hub of activity. Residents enjoy concerts and movies in the park, parades, festivals, and annual events.
Money says it looks for “places with great jobs, strong economies, affordable homes, excellent schools, and that special something that makes it a great place to live.” It lists Woodstock’s population at 26,059, median income at $71,715, job growth at 12 percent, and the median home price at $184,775.
